ABOUT US
The East Asian Regional Journalists Association (EARJA), founded in 1980, is an organization that focuses on freedom of the press in East Asia.
These advanages cannot be achieved without promoting and defending some of core values, ie, freedom of expression, freedom of the press, Respect for human rights and democracy. All these are also the key pillars for world and regional peace.
Today EARJA have more than 500 working partners and 16,000 members in East Asian countries.
Safety of Journalists is the cornerstone of the EARJA's campaign for the promotion of the press freedom.The EARJA aims to enhance professionalism and raise the protection of welfare for our working partners and members.
